Join Seller Subaru And Subaru Keep Our National Parks Clean & Beautiful

Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest travel weekends for many families and last year over 330 million people visited some of our nation's most beautiful places. Our National Parks. Subaru is known for their commitment to our planet and Seller Subaru wants to help educate our customers with a few easy ways you can help preserve our National Parks.

The National Parks across the country are some of the most amazing natural landscapes our country has to offer. From the breathtaking Grand Canyon to the mighty mountains of Rockies. Subaru of America, Inc. and National Parks Conservation Association teamed up to analysis the waste visitors at the park leave behind. While all the parks have proper receptacles for trash, recycling, and plastic there was still a large amount of garbage being sent to the landfill. So what can we do to cut down on how much waste we produce?

  • One easy way to cut down on the amount of paper in the parks is to opt for an online map. Everyone these days has smartphones and all maps of the parks are available online.
  • Another easy way to help eliminate waste is by bringing your own bottle. Americans throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour. Every National Park has refillable water stations to fill your refillable water bottle.
  • Pack in, pack out and leave no trace. This motto is one active hikers, campers, and all nature lovers live by and it simply means that whatever you bring into the park you need to take with you when you live.
  • The last way that visitors to the parks can help reduce our impact on the environment is by ditching the plastic bag. Bring your own reusable bag or tote for your items to help eliminate plastic bag waste.
