Subaru Marks 30th Anniversary for STI

Do you like performance-driven vehicles? At Sellers Subaru, we do too. On April 2nd, 2018, Subaru marked the 30th anniversary of the founding of Subaru Tecnica International, better known as STI. In 2004, the WRX STI was actually the first STI model offered in the United States market and continues to be Subaru’s performance flagship.

Since April 2, 1988, the STI has taken Subaru to three World Rally Championships, 47 WRC overall wins, and four class wins in Germany’s 24-Hours Nürburgring. Rallying success continues, and STI will take part in the Nürburgring 24-Hour race this coming May.

Those who are interested in owning their own WRX STI should know that the new model year brings a more aggressive front fascia, LED headlights, brackets for a roof rack, and stunning dark-gray 19-inch aluminum wheels. It also gets a new STI Sport Design instrument cluster with a color LCD display, heated exterior mirrors, a folding rear center armrest with cupholders, and a more proficient security system.

Whether you’re focused on the road ahead or just want to turn heads of other drivers in the area, visit Sellers Subaru to learn more about new WRX inventory we currently have in stock. We even have some STI editions that you’re going to want to take out for a spin. Contact us today for more information about our inventory, and we’ll see you soon!
