Expect to See a Subaru Plug-in Hybrid in the Coming Year

Since the XV Crosstrek Hybrid was discontinued a few model years ago, Subaru has been working on reinventing the hybrid crossover SUV, and if the speculation is true, you can expect to see a new Subaru plug-in hybrid in the coming year. While it's evident that Subaru will release a new plug-in hybrid model, it's not certain which model it will be, but you can bet that it will be engineered to provide you with the utmost combination of performance and efficiency.

One thing that we do know for sure regardless of what model it will be on, is the upcoming Subaru plug-in hybrid will come equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 8.7-inches of ground clearance, allowing you to not only enjoy terrific fuel economy in the city and on the highway but take your adventures anywhere your heart desires on and off road. Since the Crosstrek was the last model that the plug-in hybrid was offered on, it's likely that it will again be the chosen model for the upcoming hybrid. This upcoming plug-in hybrid model is the first step in Subaru's plan to reduce emissions and produces its first full electric vehicles by 2021!

Although it's not determined yet, if you're interested in getting acquainted with the possible models, we welcome you to come check out our large selection of new 2018 Forester and 2018 Crosstrek models at Sellers Subaru today!
