Subaru Sells the Two-Millionth Outback in the United States

On April 9th, 2018, Subaru sold the two-millionth Outback in the U.S. Andrew Simpson purchased his Subaru Outback in Hawthorne, CA, and the new owner was in for a real treat that day. First, he was greeted by Sean Sullivan, president, and James Miller, sales consultant, of the dealership. Then, Frank Ceccacci and Tim Tagye of Subaru of America also paid a visit to the dealership, making it a special celebration.

According to Thomas J. Doll, the chief executive officer of Subaru of America “Subaru has achieved 10 consecutive years of sales growth in the United States with Outback as a key driver of that success. Accomplishing this milestone reflects our commitment to providing customers with vehicles made to the highest standards of safety, reliability and dependability.”

To this day, the Subaru Outback has been Subaru’s best-selling model. There are many reasons why the Outback is a popular choice. But what caught the attention of drivers was its two-tone paint, large fog-lights, a raised roof, 2.5-liter BOXER engine, symmetrical all-wheel drive, and 7.5 inches of ground clearance. Talk about impressive!

You can find the new Subaru Outback as well as other new models right here at Sellers Subaru in Macomb, MI.
